Today, November 15th, is National Philanthropy Day so it is perfect that Angela Mitchell, first vice chair for the Loudoun Chamber’s Board of Directors, stops by Good Morning Washington to tell us about her amazing work and the Community Foundation for Loudon and Northern Fauquier Counties.

Angela was recently awarded Community Foundation's Changemaker of the Year award for leading her organizational plan of action to build and strengthen relationships with diverse Loudon-based businesses and organizations, as well as helping launch initiatives to promote heritage and diversity months highlighting diverse businesses and organizations in Loudon.

The Community Foundation for Loudon and Northern Fauquier Counties was created by local volunteers to build local endowments by fostering a community of grantmakers, strengthening local leadership, and investing in partnerships for the benefit of the community.

The Community Foundation invites you to get involved! For more information visit communityfoundationlf.org/
