The Washington Commanders will undergo plans to move their business operations from FedEx Field to a business park on the University of Maryland campus.

Starting in early 2024, the team will move to Riverdale Park in the University of Maryland's Discovery District, citing increased demand for stadium suites and an effort to "expand the franchise's footprint in Maryland."

“Moving our headquarters will provide exciting new spaces to take in home games and will provide for greater collaboration for our business staff and partnership with the University of Maryland,” said Commanders President Jason Wright.

Earlier this year, the Commanders also announced a $40 million investment in upgrades to the fan experience at FedExField, including the addition of themed suites. All of this comes in addition to the new sound system and video boards which were announced in March, team officials said.
