7News On Your Sideline: WCAC matchup highlights Week 8 of high school football

WASHINGTON (7News) — We are mid-way through the high school football season, and the competition across the DMV is heating up.

All season long, 7News is bringing you extensive coverage of the most anticipated matchups throughout the area. This week, a WCAC matchup between DeMatha and Our Lady of Good Counsel takes center stage.

The Stags (6-0, 1-0 Capital Standings) will visit the Falcons (5-1, 1-0 Capital Standings) in what is expected to be one of the best games of the season.

Last year, the two met in the final game of the regular season. DeMatha defeated Good Counsel 28-14 to secure the No. 1 seed in the WCAC playoffs.
