1-year-old French Bulldog stolen in DC armed robbery after it was listed for sale online

Another French Bulldog was stolen during an armed robbery in the Congress Heights neighborhood of Washington D.C. -- and this time it happened while the alleged victim was trying the sell the dog.

Now the Metropolitan Police Department is asking for your help to find the missing dog named Mocha.

According to police, the alleged victim listed her one-year-old female dog for sale online Friday afternoon and the suspect reached out to buy the dog.

When the woman arrived in the 3300 block of 14th Place SE, the suspects came up to her and took the dog. When the woman tried to get the dog back, one the suspects pulled a gun on her and threatened to shoot her.

The victim left and called 9-1-1.

Anyone who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
